Board Mandate & Institutional Purpose
The International Board for Expertise Certification (IBEC) is an independent professional board established to assess, certify, and register the expertise of individuals across a defined set of professional disciplines.
IBEC operates a fully digital certification model: candidates apply, prepare, sit a proctored online examination, and receive their certification and board membership without needing to visit a physical center.
In parallel, IBEC operates a Training Center Network, through which accredited training providers register their programs with the board, deliver instruction to their own trainees, and issue those trainees an IBEC certification upon successful completion of the required assessment.

Who We Are
IBEC is an independent certification board. It does not deliver training itself; instead, it sets the standards, designs and administers the assessments, and issues the credential. This separation between training delivery and certification decision is a deliberate structural safeguard: it keeps the awarding of a credential free from any commercial interest in whether a given candidate passes.
